Welcome to Stratford Primary School’s website. We hope this site give you a glimpse into what we are doing to help our students become confident learners who are prepared to persevere and challenge themselves, who take on life with a sense of fun knowing they are supported, and who look after each other so that no one travels the learning paths alone.

We take great pride in the successes of our students, knowing that that they have come about as a result of a collaborative and cooperative undertakings between all our staff and the families. Since 2016 we have worked to develop the philosophy of Growth Mindset across our teaching and learning approaches. We have used the elements of challenging learning to provide ourselves and our students with a toolkit of strategies and resources that can be employed to make the value added growth we see.

Our students shine in so many ways: We have the runners, the leapers, the dancers, the singers, the ones who cook, the ones who ride bikes, the swimmers, the t-ballers, the footy players, the artists, the poets, the musicians, the gardeners, the writers, the ones who love reading, the down ballers, the mathematicians, the jokesters and many, many more. We celebrate the strengths and we support our students to not only be proud of what they find comes easily but to aim high and be proud of the improvement they make in other areas through hard work and perseverance.

We have great facilities, plenty of room to play, a committed and dedicated staff who demonstrate a shared responsibility for the success of all our students, and a community that has the best interests of our students at heart.

Take the time to explore the site and do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or if you would like to come and see our school for yourself. You are more than welcome.
