Athletic Day

It was great to see our student face the chilly air to support each other at the Athletic Carnival held last Friday. Students displayed positive attitudes, and it was great to see students dressed in house colours. This event could not have run without the help of families and extra effort from our staff. Mr Holmes who spent many hours planning the event said it was great to see so many families volunteer their time to help out on the day. A special mention to Timmy and David Perryman who braved the frost to meet Mr Holmes at 7.30am to help set up on the day. Due to high number of students willing to give activities a go we had to run high jump and triple jump this week. Many student in grades 3 to 6 now have the opportunity to go on to compete in the HDSSA Athletics Day to be held on August the 16th, we wish them all the best for the day. Congratulations to Antonio House who were crowned our Athletics Day team winners, Touchstone came in second place and Ariel in third place.
