Gardening - term 2, week 1

Catching up on gardening.

This week was perfect autumn weather to tidy up the beds and harvest our Jerusalem Artichokes. Incidentally these tubers are not actually from Jerusalem, nor are they artichokes! The are from the sunflower family.

Class 1/2 were very helpful with sorting our freshly washed gardening gloves. They had to cooperate and consult with each other to find glove pairs. They ended up making over 70 pairs of gloves. Later, they worked on our display of “Our garden from A to Z”.
