Kitchen Garden
Students have been busy in the kitchen garden with compost revival, harvesting snow peas, making toasties, making citrus cleaning spray from our own citrus trees, and building trellis.
There is so much going on in the Kitchen and Garden, but the highlight is our Compost Revival Program. Earlier in the year the school won a Junior Landcare Grant to revive our compost area. With thanks to the work of JP’s Helping Hand our composting area is now ready to be just that – composting using the four bay system. More about that next term as we focus on sustainability.
It’s been a great term 3 and week look forward to new plantings next term as the ground is warmer and the frosts are over.
