Olden Day

As part of the integrated studies history unit, a day celebrating all things from history was held last Friday. Students dressed up for the day in old fashioned clothing and investigated what school was like in past times. Some of the activities enjoyed on the day were hopscotch on the courts, long rope skipping, coyts, sack races, chess and checkers. Students invited grandparents and special friends along to show them what they had been learning. The F-2 students shared the toys they made with their visitor and then played with them.
